Introduction
Multinational company in the Energy Sector wishes to offer Mechanical Engineering Internships and/or Graduates with workplace experiential training opportunities.
Workplace will either be at the Pretoria or the Cape Town Depot. Training scope = 12 months for Graduates (B. Tech or B.Sc). Internships will be for P1 and/or P2.
Minimum Requirements
B. Eng or B.
Tech graduates in Mechanical Engineering. Selection will be made in accordance with academic achievements and prior relevance of practical exposure.
Students still studying towards their National Diploma - Mechanical Engineering (i.e. P1 or P2 Interns) will be selected on academic achievement.
Job Specification
Be exposed as Trainee to Depot Management activities. This includes classic facilities and technical aspects, as well as operational performance and process efficiency improvement - spanning distribution, supply, logistics, Health & Safety, people management, and cost and financial performance. Assignments and tasks will largely be in support of actual, real time activities under mentorship of Management and designated personnel.
