PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for specialist advice, consultation and the talent resourcing process in accordance with the approved staffing requirements and applicable standards.
- Drafting advertisements according to legislation and policy
- Initial response handling and shortlisting of candidates
- Competency based interviews
- Administration and scoring of evaluation instruments and techniques
- Talent planning/tracking
- Client liaison and relationship management
- General administration
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- A relevant 3 year degree / diploma in Human Resources, ideally with a specialisation in Industrial Psychology / Psychology
- Registration with the HPCSA as Psychometrist would be advantageous
- Minimum 2 to 4 years’ end-to-end recruitment specialist experience at all organizational levels
- Proven experience in and knowledge of:
- Recruitment and selection processes and techniques
- Application and interpretation of assessments
- Interviewing techniques and skills (competency based)
- General HR processes and procedures
- Communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Consultation, facilitation and influencing skills
- Client service orientation
- Adaptable and flexible (ability to work with diverse client base)
- Organised and accurate (process driven)
- Analytical skills
- Pro-active with high energy and drive
- Emotional resilience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Valid driver’s license
- Own transport
- Willingness to frequently travel long distances
- Clear criminal and credit record
