Job description
Our
client is looking to employ a Skills Developer Co-ordinator. The
Purpose of the position is to Build employee capacity in terms of skills
development and on the job training
KEY RESPONSIILITY AREAS:
Manage
employee development in terms of the company strategy as well as the
applicable legislations in order to enhance employee development and
service delivery
Develop, implement and monitor skills and training strategy in order to enhance employee performance
Implement and monitor internship and learnership program
Develop training material and assessment tools
Oversee the design and development of the company induction program
Responsible for managing the training pillars.
Compile and submit training reports.
Prepare, capture and submit the annual Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report for the Company
Compilation of annual training budget in consultation with the GM:HR and monitor Actual spend v/s Training Budget.
Coordinate
training bookings with training service providers and employees and
ensure required documents and forms are completed and submitted.
Co-ordinating the activities leading to improvement of employee's skills and competencies.
Assist with the development and implementation of a company training academy
Identify training needs, compile training matrix ad ensure employees are trained accordingly
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Relevant tertiary qualification coupled with 3-5 years of working experience in HR training
Sound communication skills both verbal and written
Analytical and presentation skills
Working knowledge of applicable HRD legislations'
Valid drivers licence is a prerequisite
