Learnership Programmes

The Construction Education and Training Authority in conjunction with Boshard Construction (Pty) Ltd are offering learnership opportunities for the local unemployed people at the project as mentioned hereunder.

Project name: Boshard Construction Skill Development Project (Parade Concourse and Infill Deck at Cape Town Station) 

Amount of Learnerships offered: 10 

Duration: Minimum of nine (9) months and a maximum of twelve (12) months depending on field of study Stipend: R 1500 per month 

Requirements:  

Applicants must have successfully completed Grade 9 

Resident in the Cape Metropolitan and surrounding area Applicants are invited to apply for the following 

Construction related fields of study: 

• Plastering 
• Painting 
• Electrical Construction 
• Carpentry 
• Plumbing 
• Paving  

Unemployed female and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. 

Note: All Applicants will be subjected to assessment processes. All successful candidates must enter into a learnership agreement and employment contract. Upon successful completion of the learnership, learners will receive a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will gain work experience that will improve their chances of getting employment with companies and contractors.
