REQUIREMENTS
- B-Comm. degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Experienced in financial and debtors management
- At least three years experience in a managerial or supervisory position
- Excellent leadership qualities
- Previous medical aid/managed health experience will be a recommendation
- Background knowledge of the hospital/healthcare industry will be a recommendation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to function independently
- Computer literacy is essential, with excellent knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of COID and Medical Aids
- Experience and insight in the total Patient Administration Management environment
- Management of the total patient administration function (includes billing, debt collection, ART, Dr liaison etc.).
- Liaison with Funders.
- Preparation of statistics and month end reports as required by Hospital Management and Head Office.
- Responsibilities would include the day-to-day management of administrative and financial functions.
- Management and training of personnel.
- Preparation of budgets.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
