Patient Admin Manager, Mediclinic ( Limpopo )

REQUIREMENTS

  • B-Comm. degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Experienced in financial and debtors management
  • At least three years experience in a managerial or supervisory position
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Previous medical aid/managed health experience will be a recommendation
  • Background knowledge of the hospital/healthcare industry will be a recommendation
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to function independently
  • Computer literacy is essential, with excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of COID and Medical Aids
  • Experience and insight in the total Patient Administration Management environment
KEY OUTPUTS

  • Management of the total patient administration function (includes billing, debt collection, ART, Dr liaison etc.).
  • Liaison with Funders.
  • Preparation of statistics and month end reports as required by Hospital Management and Head Office.
  • Responsibilities would include the day-to-day management of administrative and financial functions.
  • Management and training of personnel.
  • Preparation of budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
