Marketing Internship. Immediate Start ( Weltevredenpark, Roodepoort )

Position Description:

 This position will support the Marketing team in development and implementation of marketing programs, planning and coordinating sales activations. Assisting in the training of marketing and sales staff. Learning about the benefits of strategic placement of products and services.

Position Responsibilities

1. Position requires strong desire to pursue marketing career where candidate learns and identifies customer needs (product, pricing, delivery, & communications) and is able to develop marketing materials targeted at specific sales channels and customers (field sales, distribution, end user)

2. Works with Marketing team members to develop strong Sales team.

3. Suggest adjustments or re-structering of marketing programs to maximize effectiveness

4. Assists with marketing communications required for product and program introductions

5. Supports Marketing Specialist with trade show preparation and participates in tradeshows as necessary, including promotions, setup, teardown, and follow-up. Active involvement in Sales necessary.

6. Assists with training material development.

Qualifications/Requirements: (i.e., education, technical skills)

· Must be currently graduated with Bachelors degree and available to start within the month of August 2013 OR planning on enrolling into a Marketing Program (you can qualify for Junior Internship)

· Must have good organizational, teamwork and communication skills - Excellent English is a must.
Must currently live within easy travel distance to Weltenvredenpark.

· Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
