Head: Governance, Performance & IT( Johannesburg & Gauteng)


JOB TYPE : FULL TIME
 
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Management, Engineering or equivalent, this is to augmented by 8yrs’ experience in an any Executive Management position
  • Understanding of the Municipal regulatory framework, and company Policies and Procedures
  • Good business writing skills verbal and presentation skills is a must
  • Information technology is a necessity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with conflicts/disputes professionally
  • Willingness to travel to the regions/depots
  • Ability to multitask and function exceptionally in a dynamic organization
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Managing Director’s office
  • The Managing Director’s office comprises of the Company Secretariat, Audit, Risk, Legal, Performance Management & Quality Assurance and the IT unit
  • Manage all matters relating to the Board of Directors of the company through the Company Secretariat
  • Support the Managing Director with the Executive Team meetings
  • Facilitate and improve Inter-Departmental Coordination and ensure institutional integration
  • Manage regulatory compliance, reporting and engagements with the city of Johannesburg, the parent municipality
  • Ensure targeted focus on service delivery, productivity and accountability within the company
  • Ensure structured engagements with the office of the Auditor General, improve the company’s internal controls through the Internal the Internal Audit and Risk Management units supported by the Finance Department.
  • Monitor and give independent company service delivery performance reports against the company’s KPI’s as per the annual Service Delivery Budget implementation plan (SDBIP)
  • Ensure that IT supports and enables the achievement of business objectives
