The Motor Mobile Adjuster will determine the physical merit and quantum of all claim segmentations (i.e. handling of motor claims). The incumbent will further negotiate and settle claims with the client within the delegated threshold related to Santam's financial risk
- Perform detailed physical investigation and merit check into the vehicle claim
- Perform damage quantum and confirm Audatex on site with MBR
- Update central claims file with Audatex
- Negotiate
with client if within threshold - if client dispute arises, update
central claims file with authorisation details and assign
claim to Claims Handler to resolve with the client. The Claims Handler resolves dispute and finalises the claim
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualification in motor mechanic and/or Motor Body Repairing
- 5 years motor assessing / Motor Body Repair (MBR) experience or relevant experience
- Must be computer literate
- Valid driver’s license code EB (08)
- Audatex certificate
- Abuntex certificate
