Description
One of the worlds largest mining companies is looking to hire a Development Advisor. The successful candidate should have superior administrative skills and attention to detail.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Identifies learning and development needs in conjunction with Line managers using appropriate research and analysis activities.- Development and implementation of a plan to meet the identified training intervention.- Sources and evaluates appropriate learning and development service providers.- Implements and administers learning and development initiatives by service provider ensuring they meet the required standards (relevant, adequate, appropriate and meeting legislative and technical requirements).- Ensures appropriate financial and cost control against training budgets.- Measures, evaluates and reports on learning and development delivery by providers.- Establishes and manages internal and external stakeholder relationships including service providers and internal clients.- Administration of Employee Part Time Education Scheme.- Responsibility for timeous and accurate reporting compliance of training ie Skills Development Act, Mining Charter and BBBEEE certification.- Manages the Bursary students including advertising, recruitment, contracting, record keeping and regular contact.- Regular engagement with Professionals in training such as articled clerks and candidate attorneys.- Management of service provider partnerships in relation to administration of the Bursary grant by the company.- Administration of Employee Part time education scheme- Complete management of the HR Induction session, ensuring content is relevant and up to date. - Schedule and deliver the programme.- Supervise the performance of direct reports in line with performance management system and company values, in order to achieve departmental objectives. Cross project awareness is essential.REQUIREMENTS:- Relevant HR, Training qualification (degree or diploma)- Experience of being involved in similar workplace roles- Proven track record - Presentation skills
