An international entity is in search of a Group Accountant who can understand Afrikaans and who is familiar with the manufacturing and petrochemical industry. This position is based in Johannesburg East.
The successful candidates duties will include:
- Acting as Financial Manger .
- The candidate will have to have SAP experience to process and pay creditors as well as do reconciliations.
- Collection of debtors and processing thereof.
- Allocation of bank account.
- Controlling of the fixed assets.
- Month end reporting and assistance with preliminary figures and Flash.
- Calculation of VAT and dealing with SARS queries.
- Sending out invoices and statements.
- Arranging accommodation for technical team when going to site.
- Managing the WIP account and Cost of Sales.
- Management of intercompany accounts.
- Clearing of all payments.
- Raising accruals.
- Managing Petty Cash.
- Balance Sheet Recons.
- Assisting with external and internal finance audits.
- Supervision of 8 staff
- Bills of Material
- Standard Costing and Weighted Average
BCom Accounting
Honours (distinct advantage)
CIMA (Preferable)
- SAP
- Excel (Advance)
