JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The candidate is responsible for developing, conducting, monitoring and modifying training courses for operators, learners, etc. by:
- Training learners according to metal industries education and training (MERSETA) boards schedules
- Design course content in accordance with the identified skills needs (Identified by management and Clients – company specifics)
- Develop or source training material, presentations that would facilitate the effective transfer of knowledge and skills.
- Preparing and submitting training reports accurately, completely and timeously.
- Liaise with external trainers on training progress
- Developing modules for technical training in Learnerships and Skills Training Programmes
- Training employees who require technical training of a specific nature
- Assessing individuals to establish competencies
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the technical training field
- Training staff in Safety
- A qualified artisan (Fitter or Boilermaker)
- Training qualification
- The candidate is required to have at least 3 years experience in technical training
- The candidate should be an accredited assessor
- The candidate should be proficient in MS Excel and Word
- The candidate must be based in Middelburg
- The candidate is required to have good communication and interpersonal skills
