QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification or higher
·         One (1) year previous call centre experience
·         Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
·         No criminal record

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To render telephonic support to merchants and regional staff of Merchant Acquiring within the client support area, within the framework of the  6 C's (Customer, Colleague, Community, Company, Control and Compliance)

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         E-mail or fax new veriphone machines batch requests to the merchants on the day of receipt and register in Admin Book daily
·         Log Computer Associates (CA) Unicenter Service desk calls immediately while telephonically assisting customers and record the reference number within 2 hours of logging the call
·         Achieve a 98% rating on Call Assessments done by Service Quality Department (SQD) and Team leader on monthly basis
·         Maintain a 95% rating achieved on Customer Perception Survey done by SQD
·         Handle at least 58 incoming calls on average per day on monthly basis
·         Finalise calls swiftly, and do not exceed 3 minutes and 15 seconds per telephone call received
·         Maintain 92% on productivity on monthly basis
·         Ensure that corporate governance and legislation requirements are met by completing self study compliance courses
·         Maintain a clean desk policy
