PURPOSE

DISCOVERY IS OFFERING AN OPPORTUNITY TO 15 OF SOUTH AFRICA’S BRIGHTEST YOUNG PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR SKILLS PROGRAMME. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS OPEN FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ONLY.

The skills programme consists of structured unit standard based learning combined with practical/workplace experience which totals to 300 learning hours.

THE LEARNER WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS PROGRAMME:

on successful completion of programme may be eligible to take part in a 2012 Learnership. The programme will take place in our Sandton offices only.

Gain access to the insurance industry with a better employment profile.

REQUIREMENTS  & EXPERIENCE

Entry Requirements:

Be a South African Citizen;
Medical proof of disability
Be in possession of a valid SA ID;
Hold a valid & recognised Matric with Maths (Failed Maths or Maths literacy) & English (minimum D symbol) and a second language (minimum symbol D)
Not be engaged in post Matric studies or formal employment;
Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years;
Have effective communication skills in the English language;
Possess basic computer skills;
