CASHIER POSITION

JOB TITLE  : CASHIER POSITION

LOCATION : WOODMEAD ,GAUTENG

JOB REQUIREMENTS

National diploma or above, the one who majored in Finance or Economics related will be prefferd

Work experience: the one who has related work experience is preferred.

DUTIES

· Answer staff' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies.
· Compute and record totals of transactions.
· Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
· Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
· Greet customers entering establishments.
· Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
· Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
· Monitor checkout stations to ensure that they have adequate cash available and that they are staffed appropriately.
· Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions.
· Request information or assistance using finance online systems.
· Resolve customer complaints.
· Reconcile the cash and bank reconciliation every month end.
· Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
· Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.
· Pay company bills by cash, vouchers, or checks.
· Open all personal account for employees
· Filling control and procedure
· Payment on Oracle ERP
· Payment on FOL Bank system
· Complete the bookkeeping function from vouchers
· Control Cash flow
· Send weekly bank statements to management
· Build relationship with the banks
· Do cash reconciliation
· Do FNB bank reconciliation
· Handle queries regarding payments
· Send out Proof of Payments
· Send weekly cash balance to HQ
