HR OFFICER

JOB TITLE  : HR OFFICER

LOCATION : SAMRAND, GAUTENG

JOB TYPE  : PERMANENT

POSITION OVERVIEW

The company has a vacancy for a young, energetic Human Capital Management Officer, based in Samrand. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the full recruitment process, the onboarding and orientation process, benefit administration, employment equity, exit interview process and any other general assistance to the HCM team.

Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch, Monday to Friday.

The folowing primary benefits are part of the offered CTC package:

REQUIREMENTS

* Human Resources related qualification.
* 3 years HR Officer Role experience.
* Experience on VIP Premier will be beneficial.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting of staff which includes.
* Create and maintain Job Profiles.
* Conduct salary benchmarking.
* Advertise vacancies internally and externally.
* Negotiate Service Level Agreements with Recruitment Agents.
* Liaison with agents and managers.
* Screening, shortling and selecting of of CV’s.
* Reference checking.
* Arranging and conducting interviews.
* Responsible for graduate, internships and learnerships recruitment.
* Arrange and attend career expos to market the brand of the company and obtain top calibre students.
* Co-ordinate notifications to relevant departments of a new employee’s arrival.
* Creating a new employee profile in the Employee Self Service Database (VIP).
* Arrange and present Induction to new employees.
* Compilation of induction material / handbook.
* Introduction of new employee to the company.
* Administrate received documents form employees to payroll and other relevant departments.
* Create and maintain personnel files.
* Administrate all primary and secondary benefits.
* Deliver after take-on service to new employee.
* Secretary on the advisory body of the company`s primary benefits.
* Secretary on the Skills and Employment Equity committee.
* Responsible for workforce and employment equity planning and reporting, monthly, quarterly and annually.
* Co-ordinate notifications to relevant departments of resignations.
* Administrate all exit interviews.
* Assist with any ad-hock tasks the team or company requires.
