REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BComm Human Resources, BTech Human Resources or similar relevant qualification in HR
At least 3 years experience as a Generalist Human Resources Practitioner

A conscientious person with the ability to think laterally
Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point an advantage
Good people skills

GENERAL  SKILLS

Excellent administration ability
Ability to work without close supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement HR and training strategy, processes and procedures as per HR Policy
Handle recruitment from putting together a job specification for advertising to appointment of ideal candidates
Handle New Starter administration, orientation and induction
Training coordination and reporting
Responsible for all HR administration
Benefit administration : Pension, Medical Aid, Loans, Bursaries, etc.
Labour relations administration : Guide counselling sessions, advise line management correctly
Ensure correct procedure
Ensure statutary compliance : Employment Equity, Skills Dvelopment, etc
Employee participation and EAP's e.g. Wellness Day
Exit Management
Performance management coordination and guidance to line management
Handle all discilinary and grievance issues under guidance of HR Manager / IR Specialist
Keep HR database and elecronic HR filing system up to date
Handle retrenchments
Handle poor performance management processes
