JOB TITLE            : HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

LOCATION           : JOHANNESBURG , GAUTENG

JOB TYPE             : PERMANENT

CLOSING DATE   : 10 APRIL 2013

MINIMUM  REQUIREMENTS

Matric plus a minimum of a 3 year HR related degree/diploma. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a fully-fledged HR generalist.
Additional Requirements: Well-developed verbal & written communication, presentation, project management, report compilation and interpersonal skills; hands-on and practical approach; sense of initiative; able to work independently, as well as in teams; ability to work under pressure and set high standards; good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power point & Outlook) and fluent in English. Ability to speak other South African languages would be advantageous.


DUTIES

: drive the development of HR strategies, goals and objectives and ensure the delivery thereof; identify opportunities for updating and enhancing HR policies; processes and procedures to effect continual improvements in the division; facilitate adherence to HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation; facilitate the implementation of talent management and succession planning; assist business to effectively manage headcount; advise on and manage employee relations; build a culture of performance management; HR administration; implement and manage ad hoc projects and duties as may be required and assigned from time to time; perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager; creating a positive working environment and developing a competent workforce through building partnerships with line managers and ensuring organizational compliance to all relevant policies and legislation.
