MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an administrative assistant
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Customer service skills, principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Attention to detail and ability to plan effectively

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professionally and efficiently answer incoming telephone calls following proper business phone etiquette and policies
  • Exhibit a professional customer service attitude that portrays a positive impression of the company at all times
  • Provide information to callers as required
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Read, write and communicate fluently in English and have proper grammatical speech
  • Ensures knowledge of staff whereabouts
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Reports to work regularly and punctually
  • Other administrative duties as may be required from time to time
