MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate)

NQF (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology will be advantageous

1-3 years

Demonstrate an awareness of customer service and apply the skills of customer care in a specific work environment

Computer Skills:


Operating computer systems
Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
SAP (Overview, Training & Events, Learning Solution Organisation)
MQA I-Share

Analytical Skills:

Analyse, interpret and communicate information
Analyse data and solve problems

Auditing Skills:

Apply auditing techniques, methodologies and principles
Establish the procedures for obtaining audit evidence
Identify and apply the responsibilities, functions and qualities of an auditor

Training / Facilitation:

Develop learning strategies and techniques
Conduct targeted training and development using given methodologies
Report Writing:
Present information in report format
Generate information and reports for internal and external use


Workshops/Meetings:


Conduct a formal meeting
Facilitate meetings/workshops effectively to achieve organisational outcomes
Plan, develop and deliver presentations


General:


Apply the organisation's code of conduct in a work environment
Apply the principles of corporate governance and ethics in a function
Apply the principles of ethics to improve organisational culture
Apply problem-solving techniques to make a decision or solve a problem
Apply research techniques to interpret and analyse data


Quality:


Demonstrate an understanding of quality requirements for a Quality Management System
Legislation (RSA):
Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the relevant Legislation:
Basic Conditions of Employment Act (Act 75 of 1997)
HCD legislation (Skills Development Act)
Employment Equity Act
Mines Health and Safety Act, (Act 29 of 1996) and its application
Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 (OHSA) (as amended) and the responsibilities of management in terms of the Act


Human Capital:


Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of an ERP system in an organisation
Apply the principles of change management in the workplace


Training Management:


Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of a Training Needs Analysis
Demonstrate knowledge of Training systems and processes best practices
Demonstrate a basic knowledge of SAQA and the National Qualifications Framework (Qualifications and Unit Standards)
Demonstrate knowledge of Learnerships & Skills programmes
Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of Competency Based:
Training and Development
Assessment and Moderation
