Senior Accounting Clerk Ditsong Museums of South Alrica is a National Museums institution based in Pretoria. lt is an amalgamation of three national museums and five site museums. It is a public entity under the Department of Arts and culture. The institution seek
s to appoint suitable persons with relevant experience and qualifications to the following post. It is the intention of the Ditsong Council to promote representivity through the filling of this post Ditsong Museums of South Africa (Pretoria) Senior Accounting .



 Finance Department Requirements

 •An appropriate, recognised diploma coupled with 3-5 years' experience in financial and clerical administration, or 8 years

� relevant experience

 •A driver's licence will be an added advantage.

 Essential criteria:

 •Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
 •Good financial and administrative skills
 •Computer literacy
 •The ability to work under pressure and long hours
•Good interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette. Duties
 •Perform cashier duties, ie: Administer daily cash float and petty cash, dispense cash and vouchers against proof of authorisation,
 Maintain records of transactions, perform daily reconciliations to transactions, be responsible for revenue collection and banking
 • Provide general clerical support services,

 ie Provide a typing and duplicating service, Order, keep and issue stores and stationery for the unit, Maintain a document filing, recording and tracking system, file reports and other correspondence.

 The closing date for applications is 14 August 2013. It is the applicants responsibility to submit proof of evaluation of foreign qualifications.
 Appointment will be made in line with the Institution's Employment Equity requirements.
